What are the characteristics of faucets with different functions

Single cold
Principle: The faucet has only one water inlet, which is connected to ordinary tap water (that is, cold water).
Advantages and disadvantages: simple and beautiful, but unable to flexibly change the water temperature.
Shopping points:
①It is recommended to choose a faucet with copper as the main body, because it has a better sterilization effect, meets the drinking water standard, and is not easy to rust;
②The surface of a good-quality single-cold faucet will be treated with a multi-layer electroplating layer, and its surface will be brighter and smoother, and the color of the entire appearance will look uniform.
Hot and cold faucet
Principle: Use a very high-precision ceramic sheet or a steel valve core inside the faucet to control the water output. In this way, when the faucet is used in different directions, there will be a distinction between cold water and hot water.
Advantages: automatic constant temperature, anti-scald, and anti-cold shock, high-temperature resistance, one-way check valve, with filter screen.
Disadvantages: The requirements for water quality are very high; paraffin wax spools are mostly used in China, which has a relatively slow response and is very prone to problems.
Purchasing points: The outer surface of the hot and cold water faucet is generally chrome-plated. A good hot and cold water faucet presses the surface of the faucet with your finger, the fingerprints will quickly disperse, and it is not easy to adhere to scale.
Electric faucet
Principle: It is mainly composed of the main body and the water flow control system. The main body has a heating cavity design and an electrical control cavity design; the water quality passes through the faucet body and is switched or closed under the action of the water pressure. If the power is turned on, the faucet can start heating in the heating tube, and it can become hot after passing through.
Advantages: fast heating, no waiting, multi-level safety protection, streamlined appearance, stylish and compact, easy to install and use.
Disadvantages: relatively low thermal efficiency, high power, small water output; easy to produce dirt, more troublesome cleaning, etc.
Purchasing points: high-quality electric hot water faucets use copper heating tubes, which can be corrosion-resistant, and can be automatically descaled, safe and durable; observe the qualification of the manufacturer, especially whether there is a 3C safety mark.
